Homes

The development would provide around 2,000 new homes, to be delivered over a c.15 year period. The focus will be on providing family homes and it is anticipated that around 70% of the homes would be houses.

900 homes would be affordable (45%), a significant proportion of these being for affordable rent to help address the Council’s housing waiting list.

The precise mix and tenure of the housing would be based upon local need and agreed with the Council as part of the application process.

The homes will be sustainable.
